Good News Clubs

Child Evangelism Fellowship “Good News Clubs” are now operating in two of our Yancey County Schools–East Yancey Middle School and South Estatoe Elementary School. We have twenty-one volunteers who have been trained and are now conducting After School Bible Clubs in these two schools. There have already been salvations as a result of this ministry.

Your church can become a part of this ministry by adopting a public school. Adopting a public school for Good News Club ministry enables you to connect with your community and reach children with God’s love and saving grace. A Good News Club is an exciting and fun-filled club held once a week for 60-90 minutes. The message of salvation is shared throughout the club using the memory verse, Bible lesson, songs, missionary story, and even the games! As the children are reached, they share their faith with their families. You may have the joy of seeing those families come to know the Lord and become involved in your church.

CEF materials are high quality, biblically sound, and Christ centered. Attractive visuals and interactive elements keep the kids’ attention while the truth of God’s Word impacts their hearts.  Unsaved children hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are invited to receive Him as Savior. Saved children are challenged to grow in their faith in specific ways in each lesson.
